Friends Of Renwick School
The Friends Of Renwick School
Friends of Renwick School (FoRS) is a group of parents, friends and supporters working to make the school the best it can be for our kids.
As a group we:
welcome new families into the school community
raise funds on an annual basis for specific school projects, as directed by the Board
aid whānau as and when required (illness, hardship, etc.)
assist with the running of school events (Pet Day, Scholastic book week, etc.)
provide support to staff and families within the school.
We run one major fundraiser each year, with the funds going to the school to be used as directed by the Board. Over the last five years we have raised over $100,000 for school projects such as new sports uniforms, assistance with the solar panels, and audio-visual projection equipment for the Renwick Memorial Community Hall upgrade.
With a large roll of over 550 students, and a pool of more than 800 parents, we need your support to make FoRS a success. Many hands make light work and no contribution is too small, no matter what you have to offer in the way of time and/or skills.
Come along and see what you can offer the team that helps your school. Watch out for our monthly scheduled meetings, time and place advertised in the school newsletter. Alternatively, contact one of the friendly FoRS committee members – details on the school website at https://www.renwick-school.org/friends-of-renwick-school.
